A county Health Department director, a community Corrections Director, and a recovering addict unite to bring lasting change to their rural community by making a commitment to bring families out of generational poverty. The ripple effect of this mind-shift has inspired the vision of building Community resilience in their county, their organizations, and in the families they serve. You will learn how three leaders are collaborating together to engage the community and are transforming minds and hearts for the middle class as well as those living in poverty. Developing relationships is at the center of change and that hope and healing are possible in any community, as long as there are champions to fight for the underserved! This session will discuss how to launch and sustain a healthy project that changes communities from the inside out.
