When it comes to building a whole school environment where students thrive All Means ALL but schools can't do this alone, it takes a community. Join me for this session exploring the trauma-informed community school model as a way to build resilience and take a 'whole school, whole community' approach. We will look at the pillars and frameworks for the equally powerful trauma-informed and community school models to explore how they mutually reinforce and support each other. We will look at exemplars from public schools across the country to understand best practices and spark ideas. Participants will have the opportunity to understand what they are already doing that fits within this model, identify gaps, and prioritize their next steps.
